This week brought me to Flower Mound and Plano, TX for two client development seminars. The first was held at Majesty’s, which bills itself as an inspirational dinner club. The food was excellent, and as soon as I finished my presentation, live country and music started playing in the main dining room. Dale Butler and crew from the Flower Mound bar were our gracious hosts, and I spoke in front of an intimate crowd on using the Internet to grow your law firm leads. Happy hour (with free drink tickets!), door prizes and more made for a fun evening.
I was joined by nearly a dozen, including:
The second event was the next morning, at the coolest hotel I’ve stayed in — the NYLO in Plano. NYLO’s boutique, loft-style accommodations have an urban point of view. Although it was early, we had an energetic group who asked lots of interesting questions. Client development solutions seem to be sold by anyone with a pulse, and I could sense much frustration over past experiences had by some in the room. Over a 90 minute presentation, I fielded more than 20 questions, around the use of pay-per-click, title tags, reputation management — even a few on LinkedIn. We had a delicious breakfast spread, and gave out lots of door prizes! Kerri Blanford and Greg Lewis managed to pull off back-to-back successes. Joining Greg, Kerri and myself were:
Thanks again Kerri & Greg for two very successful programs!

Great presentation, Brian. You didn’t waste any time and got right to want we wanted (and needed) to know. Your answers to our questions were very insightful and not over our heads. I may be calling you in the future with some more questions . . .
Thanks Alex, I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to attend. The questions by your group were excellent, and I hope I left you with lots of great ideas. Look forward to chatting again!
